If you’re not aware, the Writer’s Guilde of America (WGA) is currently on strike. You can read the full story on the WGA website.
The strike surely effects anyone who watches just about any television show. Personally I have grown to really appreciate the talents of many specific writers and truly value their contribution to the films and TV shows we watch. I’ve watched several videos and seen many photos of these writers on the picket lines, here’s one of my favorites of Lost writer/producer Carleton Cuse.
And a short interview with another Lost producer/writer Damon Lindelof.
Lost isn’t scheduled to come back on air until February, however, several other popular shows, including “24” and “The Office” have already been placed on hiatus until the strike is over. Let’s hope all parties involved can come to a quick and fair decision.
