Tuesday…

Well, what can I say? It’s a Tuesday. There’s not a lot going on right now really. I’m working on editing the first episode of Life on Main Street after over a month of production work. Chris and I made a trip to the Apple Store in Indianapolis on Saturday where he purchased Final Cut Express to help our editing go more smoothly. It is amazing. I’m editing up a storm and now the only thing holding me back is my own creativity.
I’ve realized through working on this video project how much I really love working with video and editing. I love the filming and production aspect a lot too, but only because it effects how well the final product will turn out. I’d love to be able to do more video work on different projects. Maybe a movie for fun? Who knows…
Kristen’s student teaching is going really well. It actually sounds like she’s doing much better than the other student teachers in the school she’s teaching at. She got to meet the current Miss America yesterday and she was pretty pumped up about that. I probably would be too.
We’re looking forward to the days when she’ll be teaching and money won’t be as tight. It will free the both of us up to do a little more of the things we want to do. I want a Mac, we both need new cars, and we need to buy a house. It will all come eventually. No hurry here.
I’m still trying to think of a good website project that I can start. I’ve had a couple of ideas of sites that already exist but could be improved upon, but I don’t have the energy right now to take on a project of that size. I’d like to find something smaller in size so I can just spend an hour here and there working on it without feeling like I’m getting nowhere. Any ideas? Let me know.
Well, that’s about it for now. I’ll be writing back soon.
