The New Abode!

I have a huge update for you all now! Kristen and I have decided to move! We found a 3 bedroom house that we are very happy to call our own, well, renting it any way. Either way, we are very happy with it.

Wedding planning

I've been slacking just a little on working out, I've only been going 3 or 4 days a week instead of 5 or 6. However, it is recommended that you go to the gym 2 or 3 days a week so I think I am okay.

Working Out

Working out is still going really well, my cousin, which is also a personal trainer has been helping to learn more about nutritional supplements. Up to this point, I have always thought that supplements and steroids would be in the same category, boy was I wrong. I have been making it so hard on myself by trying to each X grams of protein and Y grams of Carbohydrates, and all the while failing because it is IMPOSSIBLE to track everything you eat if you eat anything from a restaurant OR from the grocery. Not to mention the weird chemical reactions that happen between the elements that can create and destroy the effects of one another. Thus, we have supplements. A supplement is a pre-measured amount of ALL of the nutrition that your body needs. For example, if I know that I want X grams of protein and Y grams of Carbs, I can drink the right amount of a meal replacement shake and be set. The only downside to this is that you don't always get the satisfaction of tasting food. Oh well, small price to pay.

Cruise == Paid Off

Wow, well I just paid off our cruise! It's been a long time coming, and it feels great to have one more debt paid off. Now all we have to do is wait. However, that is the hardest part.

New Workout Program

I just started a new workout program, and I think this one is it. I know that I will start to see changes if I stick to it. If you are interested in seeing it, click here (PDF file). It is a very intense workout with lots of cardio, legs, shoulders, abs, pretty much everything you can think of.

Graduation practice

It's Thursday afternoon, and I am getting ready to head off to graduation practice. Wow, even though this is by no means the end of my quest for knowledge and piece of mind, I still feel very relieved and happy. I would not want to change a thing about my life right now.

School's coming to an end...

Well, the semester is coming to an end, and so are my first two years of college; this all meaning that after May 9, 2002 I will have my first college degree, an AS in Computer Graphics Technology. I must say that it has been a long time coming, but I have learned more than I ever imagined about computers, graphics, and learning. I am not taking any classes this summer which should be a very nice break considering it will be my first summer without anything to do for more than 7 years. Very excited about this.

Spring?

It seems as though spring might be here, and the weather may stop playing its morbid game of is it spring or is it winter. I was getting pretty sick of all of the cold weather, and those few days we had last week of warm weather just set my heart on this Summer.

Stuff that's going on...

Well, classes just started again, and it is starting to become clearer that maybe one day I can do 3D modeling and animation as a career. I am taking a class on SolidWorks, which has just replaced AutoCad as the primary CAD/CAM program at Purdue University, and it is so much easier for me to translate my ideas from my jumbled mess of a brain to a nice looking, complex 3D model. This is VERY exciting because before my weakness was modeling because I HATED AutoCad, so now, I am home free.
