Stop 19 – Kennebunkport, ME

There’s something about Maine that really draws me in. It’s not the most beautiful state, I think Vermont or Colorado takes that award, but the combination of the fishing gear, boats, lighthouses, rocky coastline makes it a place that’s very special to me. Even though Kennebunkport didn’t quite have the volume of activities we were looking for the three weeks we spent there were relaxing and beautiful.

Our first campground was in Arundel (which I was disappointed to learn is pronounced different than the kingdom in Frozen). It’s a small town with very little commerce but the campground was filled with huge trees. Our spot was nice and large.
