All sorts of stuff…
- Life on Main Street
- What's new with me?
I haven’t written in a while and that’s because I’ve been very busy. I’m going to attempt to update everyone on what’s been going on.
The first thing worth noting is that Chris and I finished our last interview for our first episode of Life on Main Street. We’re waiting on a few items so we can begin editing. I’m very excited to get started on it and I know we’re going to end up with a very nice program. It’s going to be airing on WCTV with a new epsiode each month (hopefully).
Related to video editing, Kristen, Jamie and I watched a couple of videos that we had made in High School for projects. Back then we did all of the editing with two VCRs and the pause button, but there were actually pretty good. Very artsy some of them. lol. I’m trying to think of a video we can make for fun just so I’ll have something to play around with as far as editing. That would be so fun.
We had youth group last night and it went extremely well. We’re starting the Experiencing God study for youth groups and everyone that was there was interested in doing it. It requires homework from the students, but we made it clear (and they know us well enough to know) that we wouldn’t make them do it if we didn’t know it was worth it. I hope it’s as big a help to them as it was for Kristen and I.
I found out last week that one of my uncles on my dad’s side is moving out to Arizona with my dad. We’re not sure how long it’ll last, but he’s going to try it. Kristen and I are still planning on moving there, and we’re currently thinking that it’ll be around 2008. We’ve got several things we need to get finished before we go (namely my Bachelors degree). We can’t wait.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m planning on starting on a business marketing degree once I start back to school. I’ve known since I graduated with my A.S. that I was going back, but I wasn’t completely sure what I was going to study when I went back. I have great interest in marketing and I know it would be very useful in combination with the skills I already have. I’ll probably start back this coming summer.
Another bit of news is that I just completed a website for my father-in-laws Sunday School class. One Accord is the name of the class and Kristen and I were members for a while before becoming the high school sunday school class teachers. I’m very happy with it and the members of the class are very excited about having a website for their use. You can visit the website by going to http://oneaccord.evingtons.com/
That’s about it for now. I’ll have more soon.
