A Great Weekend
- What's new with me?
Man did I have a great time this weekend. Friday night was fairly uneventful, which is what was so great about it. Kristen and I rented "Ray" and had chinese food delivered. We sat there most of the night on the couch relaxing together. It was a great time.
Saturday was the exact opposite, we were out of town for the whole day pretty much. I had a Technology Task Force meeting at church in the morning and the rest of the day we were running around with my brother-in-law and a friend. We went over the new pet store in Richmond, called "Jack’s" and it was great. They had all sorts of animals there, including some $500 Siberian Husky puppies. They were really cute. Maybe one of these days when we get our own house we can get a mutt. That would be nice.
After we left the pet store we went to Muncie. We were just planning on driving there to see what we could find to do and ended up stopping at a flea market on 35. It was a neat place, there’s something very neat about flea markets. I’m not sure if it’s the type of people that tend to occupy them, or the type of stuff that they sell, or the buildings they’re located in, but there’s something cool about them. We left there and went on into town and went to the mall. Jamie was wanting to buy some pants at Old Navy and Kristen wanted to see if she could find some clothes as well. I was just along for the fun.
After we were finished with the mall we went and ate at Olive Garden. That was a nice experience. We were trying to be really cheap and decided that all of use were going to get soup, salad and breadsticks. It still ended up being almost $9.00 a person, but hey, we were out on the town. I’m sure the waitress thought we were really cheap, but when everything there is so expensive what do you expect?
Sunday was another relaxing day. When we got out of church we went to buy the new Gran Turismo 4 game. I’ve been a big fan of that series since it came out many years ago. Overall the new version is awesome! They’ve made lots of improvements to an already great game.
