Things have been so crazy. Crazier than I ever remember them being before. But it’s good. I’ve got tons of stuff going on at work, Kristen’s teaching (and liking it), and we’re getting started on the not-so-long road of saving money to buy a house. It’s nice.
Kristen has started her teaching job in Connersville. As she adjusts to the somewhat long schedule she’s finding that she really enjoys what she’s doing, which is great. Too many people go to work every day just so they can make some money. We both really enjoy what we do for a living.
I’ve got around 10 projects running concurrently at work right now compared to my typical one or two. It’s nice though, knowing that I’ll have something to do every day. Hopefully things will slow down to a normal pace next month.
We went conoeing last weekend and that was a blast. I was in a conoe with my brother-in-law to start off with and we actually capsized. It wouldn’t be funny, but we were bragging the entire week leading up to the trip about how we were going to beat everyone to the finish line. We hit a light patch of rapids and we were over.
Well, that’s it for now. I don’t think there’s much else new going on. If there is something I think of later, I’ll write again.
