Going to the movies!

It’s friday and it’s a long weekend, what more could I ask for? I’m headed to the movies tonight to see a movie that I’ve been waiting around 6 months to see. The Day After Tomorrow looks like it could be the grandaddy of all disaster movies and I’m a big fan of that genre.
I’m going tonight to see it with my father-in-law and brother-in-law. Kristen and her mom are going to see Shrek 2. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Shrek movie, but I’d much rather see a film about large cities being buried under blankets of snow and ice.
I’ve been working on a project with my father-in-law for the last week or so. It’s essentially a website that allows coaches to input their roster data as well as register athletes for different events. It’s pretty complex and I’ve learned a ton from doing it. I’m getting down to the refinement stage with it and can’t wait to test it out with some real data.
I finally got a printed version of the Quaker Life magazine that I worked on back and I was pretty happy with it. It looks exactly as I had planned and it’s nice to have something that you created printed out and distribution-ready.
