This week we’ll begin one of the largest and most anticipated improvements to the house since we moved in, replacing the old windows! It has the original wood frame windows which we’ve always liked since they match the woodwork, but they’re in terrible shape and we’re losing lots of money in energy costs. Time to change that.

We’ll be doing the project in two phases, first the downstairs windows and later the upstairs, attic and basement windows.
