Get out and enjoy the fall weather!

One of the greatest things about living in this part of the country is the beautiful fall scenery. The brightly colored leaves, the slight chill in the air, the fields full of corn ready to be harvested all make for some of the most picturesque scenery anywhere. If you’re like me and you’re looking for some ways to be out and about this weekend so you can enjoy the fall weather, consider some of these events.
The MAiZE: Through Oct. 30, 8291 W. Indiana 1, Farmland. A human labyrinth carved into a 10-acre cornfield. Hours: 5-9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays. Cost: $7 for ages 13 and older; $5 for seniors and ages 6-12; free for ages 5 and younger. Information: (866) 468-4303 or Web site www.1funfarm.com.
Family Nature Nights: 6:30-8 p.m. various Thursdays at Springwood Park EdVenture lab. Thursday, Night Fliers (learn about bats and owls). Information: (765) 983-7275.

Fuzzy’s Freakshow: Haunted attraction will be open 7:30-11:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in October and Oct. 31 at the Williamsburg Community Center, 8441 Centerville Road, Williamsburg, Ind. Cost: $7 adults; $3 for children 10 and younger. Information: fuzzys-freakshow.com.

Eklund’s Crazy Acres haunted corn maze: 2:30-11 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Satur-days and 12-6:30 p.m. Sundays today-Oct. 30. The maze will be closed 6:30-7 p.m. while the ghouls move in. Richmond Civic Theatre’s 2005-2006 Main Stage Season: “Diary of Anne Frank� Friday and Oct. 22. Tickets are: Adults, $15, seniors 65 and older, $14, students (with I.D.), $13, children ages 12 and younger, $10. Groups of 20 or more may buy tickets at the student rate, which is a discount of 20 percent. Group tickets must be bought at the same time and must be picked up before opening night.
